Gianna Michaels’ first job was “at a hamburger joint up in Seattle called Dick’s.” In 2001, she moved to California and started working as a receptionist. Over time, people approached her about modeling, and she eventually tried it, figuring that if she didn’t like it, she could stop. Her modeling eventually led to nude photo shoots and then porn.

A fast-emerging porn star, Michaels first became popular for the numerous pornographic scenes she did for the company Ox Ideas (see Bangbus or Bang Bros). In 2005 and 2006 she appeared on seemingly every major porn site, as well as in at least 86 XXX DVDs. She performs with both males and females, engaging in one-on-one, interracial, group sex, and shows a voracious sexual appetite onscreen.

Gianna’s amazing curves were the subject of a video tape measurement from Jerked.com. Her large natural breasts (43.5 inches) and round hips/butt (46.5 inches) have helped generate a significant fan following. In July 2009 Gianna made her first on screen anal scene which can be found on “Big Wet Asses #15.” As of December 2009, Gianna’s filmography includes more than 344 DVD credits.
In January 2010, there were rumours that Gianna had retired from the business but she confirmed on her Twitter page that she was just “taking a break”.

Gianna and also had a bit part in the 2010 mainstream horror movie, Piranha-3D which also featured porn star, Ashlynn Brooke.
